"Twilight" Suzuka is an Ultra-A Class Assassin, whose assassination gimmicks are the use of a bokken, which she can swing with enough force to destroy just about anything in her path (and to prevent being detected by metal detectors), and to kill her target within 5 minutes before the moon rises (she keeps track by carrying what happens to be a large pocket watch). She is sent to assassinate Fred Luo on the account of her employer fearing the expansion of the Luo Family's business monopolizing the intergalactic weapons market. She gives Fred 5 minutes to write his goodbyes. Luckily for Fred, Gene intervenes and distracts Suzuka from her mission while protecting Fred. Suzuka escapes when she hears her pocket watch ring, indicating that she has failed to kill Fred before the moon's rise. After this, Suzuka is compelled to find and kill Gene before she can kill Fred Luo again. Unfortunately for Suzuka when she finds and attacks Gene again, Gene is able to defeat her by way of using his light shield as a tactic to disarm her, as well as disrobe her in a race for the bokken. Suzuka, unable to attack, is forced to agree to kill Gene first before she can kill Fred Luo as part of her pride. Later on, she runs into Melfina and protects her from an attacking Kei Pirate participating in an organized raid to seize the XGP. Deducing that the Kei Pirates are after the Outlaw Star crew, Suzuka joins to protect them from future Kei Pirate attacks, and stays along because she happens to "find these people interesting."

Suzuka is quiet and reserved, as well as being one of the intelligent members of the Outlaw Star crew. She also has a very wide knowledge of Kei Pirate activity, but why she has this information is not certain. Not much knowledge is really unveiled about Suzuka, other than in the introduction to one of the later episodes of the series, it is shown that Hitoriga has some sort involvement with her, depicted from Suzuka's reflection on Hitoriga's sword. Aside from being the other independent member of the crew, she is more of a lone wolf than Aisha, requiring very little assistance from any outside sources to attain the completion of her missions or goals.
