Moderator

Moderators are a sort of "junior staff" on a message board. They can edit, move, and delete posts, split threads, and sometimes even ban people. Lots of moderators have a power trip from their status, just try to avoid them and maybe they'll go away. In reality, they're not demi-gods, but normal users burdened with more responsibilities. Keeping moderators happy is thankfully quite easy, though. All you have to do is obey a forum's rules. The issue therein comes when the forum's rules are similar to the Nazi regime. It's best to avoid those sites entirely.
