How to search for items on Japanese sites
How to tell bootlegs from the real thing
- If it mentions China or Chinese, it's a bootleg.
- Use common sense, look for official logos, check up on company names, etc.
- It's not that hard.

The Outlaw Star manga has yet to be translated into English, but it has been translated into Italian and Deutsche under Panini Comics's Planet Manga. The ones published in Germany are in the same format as the original Japanese manga. The Italian ones are published in the Italian comic book format instead.

Buttons, T-shirts, certain models, and fan-made items all fall under unofficial merchandise. Dôjinshi (Doujinshi), fancomics, and fanmagazines also fall into this category. However, time to time Morning Star Studios produces it's own Dôjinshi for it's existing work. So Dôjinshi known to be published by Morning Star Studios will be separated from other Dôjinshi circles or authors.
