Kei Pirates

One of the main pirate factions in Outlaw Star, the Kei Pirates represent the major nemesis to Gene and the rest of the Outlaw Star crew. It is the Kei Pirates who work with the Space Forces to assemble the Outlaw Star, as well as Melfina. After having both stolen from them by Hilda, the Kei Pirates pursue her until she flees to Sentinel III and encounters Gene. After this point, the Kei Pirates and Gene soon find themselves battling each other for the Outlaw Star, Melfina, while each trying to discover the secret of the Galactic Leyline.
