Jim Hawking

Jim Hawking is the son of a universally renowned hacker known only as "The Computer Wizard", Jim is likewise skilled in all things requiring the use of a computer. His personality is one of dualism born of necessity. As the methodical half of Starwind and Hawking Inc., Jim often finds himself frustrated by Gene's habit of acting without thinking, and is constantly left shouldering the "how" rather than the "why" in any given situation. If not for his technological genius, ability to strategize and near obsessive attention to detail, it is arguable that Gene would not have made it very far as an Outlaw. Jim is always there to back Gene up.

Jim displays many precocious traits, but is by no means childish in nature. Usually very upbeat and positive, Jim is better skilled at dealing with customers and arranging jobs than most anyone in the crew. Unfortunately for him, however, this can be a very stressful position in times of short funds or lack of work. Still, he is very reliable despite his age and lack of fighting skill.
