Biography
AKosygin, also known as the "Lord Black Cat," is the founder of OutlawStar.NET (OLS.NET), making him also the oldest member of the OLS.NET message board. His alias, AKosygin, refers to Alexey Kosygin, who was a politician and administrator in the Soviet Union.
In addition to his work as head administrator on OLS.NET, he is also an administrator at FinalFantasyXIOnline.COM.

There were very few online Outlaw Star resources before OutlawStar.NET that existed before Outlaw Star itself was brought over to the United States. I actually do not remember exactly HOW I found out about Outlaw Star, but if I remember correctly it was during the VHS fan sub days when the series was released and a fan sub group sent us a tape to sample. At the beginning when the domain of OutlawStar.NET was obtained, Bandai had just announced that they had licensed the series and I just finished watching the VHS fan subs. At that point, OutlawStar.com was taken by Bandai, and the only other sites where Outlaw Star resources could be obtained was from the Japanese official site or Julie's Outlaw Star Page. I believe EchoFox beat me to the punch to get OutlawStar.org, and of course Bandai got OutlawStar.com for 10 years, but I was able to get OutlawStar.NET.
Since then, many Outlaw Star sites have come and gone, and yet amongst all the English sites, Julie's Outlaw Star page and OutlawStar.NET have endured, ironically, even longer than Bandai's own official site. OutlawStar.NET can never claim to be the first since that credit goes to Julie's page. But despite the relative decline in interest of the series, OutlawStar.NET continues to grow (albeit slowly).
During the years, the forums of OutlawStar.NET became the centerpiece of the site, with the multimedia section following closely in importance. It is my hope that the Encyclopedia set here will soon be the third piece that would complete my original intention of OutlawStar.NET, a collection of Outlaw Star information and fandom.
